Lost employment simply means you start looking for something new. Be that a new job in the same field or you reinvent yourself entirely, that choice is yours.
Losing family members always hurts, even if they are family members you didn’t have a healthy relationship with. Death often reminds you of your own mortality. It can also remind us of wonderful memories we shared or painful ones you’d rather keep buried.
All of the less than savory things that happen in life serve to present an opportunity.
